Jean-Pierre Segers
Prof. Dr. Jean-Pierre Segers holds a Ph.D. in Economics and Management from the Université de Liège (Belgium). He is professor of innovation management at Hasselt University (Belgium), visiting professor and expert of the Latvian Council of Science at Riga Technical University (Latvia) and affiliated with HEC Management School (Université de Liège) in Belgium. He is the honorary dean of business from PXL University of Applied Sciences and Arts. He holds the Certified Facilitator of Training certification, as well as IFMA’s Facility Management Professional™ and SFP™ credentials.
Jean-Pierre (co-)authored numerous scientific journal papers, book chapters and conference proceedings, next to delivering keynotes and international conference presentations. He also finished a white paper on FM and the UN SDGs. His research interests include biopharma; (open) innovation management; systems of innovation; ecosystems and innovation districts; (sustainable) business models; entrepreneurship (education); sustainability & SDGs; facility management; new technologies.
