Our Story

Both go a long way back as friends and colleagues. In the business plan of life, you set out strategic goals. Some take longer to fulfill. So it happens, the entrepreneurial microbe hit them at different stages in their lives…

They started off in the public sector working as directors of Facility Management (Jos) and Education Policy (Jean-Pierre), designing, building, financing, maintaining, and operating a cluster of school campuses together with a team of architects, engineers, public procurement specialists, etc.

Jos joined PROCOS Group, a facility management consultancy firm and Jean-Pierre continued his academic and administrative career, working for higher education institutions in Belgium and abroad and for several government administrations in Belgium.

Today, their professional paths merged again in a new venture called Brains & Trees, focusing on lifelong learning and skills empowerment in and for the Facility Management industry and annex networks, partnering with IFMA/IFMA-EMEA where applicable.
